i am grateful:
1) that i ran into three people within 10 minutes during lunch–K. with a vegan cookie; O., who i “dated” in sixth grade and was just looking at a picture of last night (which i don’t normally, ever); and my lovely college friend Z. who i was just thinking i wanted to email this morning. so cool.
2) for the kick-ass sweaty yoga class at sonic tonight. it’s amazing. when a teacher says to “play,” and “relax,” and “not take yourself too seriously” and means it, my practice completely changes. i am so much more fluid and strong. she said to set an intention and the words “gentle power” came to me. and i kept feeling that pulsing through me. soft strength.
3) for j. who reminds me of what i need to be reminded of
4) that the office has been much calmer with the holidays
5) dr. g.
6) the gorgeous hot tub at left from this house. dunk me, please.
7) the quiet, lit, clean, uncluttered new fridge
8) csa apples
9) the package from j.! jai ganesha.
