providential saturtude

i’m in rhode island. and at 11ish pm i’m grateful for:

1) waterfire in providence. so pretty to see fire burning on water. smelling smokily with mellow music playing.

2) ooh! that tina fey is playing sarah palin tonight! (ok, get this. a woman approached me in a shoe store today and said, “Is everyone telling you that you look like sarah palin now?” I was like. um, yes. because one other person has said that. and a few other seems to agree. wtf? time for new hair?)

3) not for death. but for the love that surrounds the death of a loved person.

4) my friend t. and her letter today about her mom who has passed. so much love.

5) fish tacos at the cheesecake factory

6) that i live nowhere near a cheesecake factory

7) this honeyed feeling

8) large bathtubs

9) weekends

10) walking on marshy ground next to a calm blue river
