i’m grateful for
this country choosing light over dark, grace over shame.
the honks and howling and whoops and obaaamaaa!! out the window
the guy who pulled his car to the curb, jumped out ran around his car in a happy dance, got in, waved at us and drove off
the amazing yellow leaves and blue gray sky full of so much joy. gratitude. relief.
true hope
talking with k about obama’s embodiedness, his presence and his smooth humility
that is was over quick and easy and legal
the so many hearts rose up today and reached for the light and voted
that change is finally here
that i get to look at that gorgeous man’s face for the next 4 years at least
the magic of brooklyn right now. like new years eve but with deep purpose and soul
seeing oprah in the crowd on tv
that stunning speech and that i want to hear him speak all day long
the epic turning point feeling
the joy
the chock turned to gratitude with chills
the divine grace and the human sweat that made this happen
hallelujah. our pride is restored. now we have something to work with. thank you, thank you, thank you.
the first melting of hardened cynicism
the first sprouts of trust and belief
shanti shanti shanti ommmmmmmmm

Yes yes yes! This feels so amazing. I am also so very grateful.
V – you have such a gift for giving my gut words. it’s like you climbed into my brain, my foggy – still sick brain and clarified the thoughts… ideas from mud to shining gemstones. you held my emotions with each syllable and painted my feelings with the brightest colors imaginable. in other words – YOU SAID IT WOMAN! ahhhh all the hope we had made this happen – such proof that energy really does change the world – in so many ways… let it continue! peace, J
