today was an ass-kicker. running, running in panic mode, yet nothing feels done. mccain doesn’t even want mccain to win. got a project a bit stonewalled. my heart is a little schizo. it was seriously cold in the office. people are insane racists. there are already voting machine breakdowns. politicians don’t feel like they have any responsibility to the public that elects them. sarah palin was amazing on snl. yoga teachers in ny generally suck for me lately–i mean if you’re not going to adjust postures, verbally correct postures, or demonstrate postures why am i not home with a dvd instead of paying $17 to be here at 7am?
um, whew. sorry. thanks.
that said. i am grateful for:
1) hot baths
2) getting out of the city yesterday to the amazing outhouse orchards
3) steamed cabbage
4) rachel maddow
5) only visiting facebook once a week
6) uncle sam cereal
7) the pink cloud sunset i saw between buildings tonight with a water tower in the middle
8) ira glass et al
9) having an actual counter in my kitchen
10) remembering to breathe once in a while
11) and this fascinating/awful “on the media” clip
