Second Annual Women’s Health Symposium

Breasts are important. So are the rest of women’s bodies. This all day extravaganza will distract us from trying to make them look perfect and teach us how to take good care of them. Experts will give workshops and lectures, and Mount Sinai Hospital will do individual health screenings for osteoporosis, skin cancer, vision/glaucoma and podiatry.

Lecture topics range from nutrition to menopause, and include, “Lunchtime Lasers: Miracle Makeover or Buyer Beware?;” “The Estrogen Enigma;” “Rejuvenation From the Inside Out;” and “The Brighter Side of Breast Cancer.” You’ll be able to ask questions and get answers to your health concerns. An exhibit hall will display the latest in health care products.

Forget girl-bonding by shopping for the day ³ that’s what Saturdays are for ³ and take your mom, sister, girlfriend, self.
